Like many organizations and businesses, IDEA and its Employment and Income Generating Projects have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic but are doing their absolute best to weather this storm. Everyone at IDEA is being impacted in some way with many employees now working part-time or being temporarily furloughed along with most of the island.
Thankfully there is nothing but love and support within our IDEA family. In these trying times, IDEA in partnership with our generous donors and partner organizations has provided care packages of food and essential goods to help its employees. The IDEA Office staff worked to put together these care packages and has already had several rounds of distributions to IDEA’s employees, paying special attention to the most vulnerable members of the IDEA family.
We want to thank everyone who has contributed to this cause as we firmly believe that we will get through this together. In these uncertain times, we cleave to His promises, such as found in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
