An Answered Prayer

For so long, it has only been an ambitious dream and prayer for the Leyte Island Association for the Deaf (LIAD), IDEA’s spin-off project on the island of Leyte, Philippines, to have its own multi-purpose covered court that will serve our supported elementary and high school deaf students.

A Heartwarming Visit to Leyte

James, our IDEA US President, and Pastor Glen from Faith Chapel, a long-time IDEA supporter and donor, paid a visit to our deaf students in Leyte, Philippines, on February 5-7, 2024. They had the opportunity to connect with the children, teachers, and parents at the schools and dorms of the Macrohon, Maasin, and Ormoc City
