For a small city like Tagbilaran, the steady increase of the number of vehicles running around the city has made the traffic congestion far worse. Also, the practice of illegal parking on the narrow roads and leaving vehicles unattended along the roadsides has worsened the traffic and is increasingly dangerous to motorists.
In order to help enforce parking regulations, Tagbilaran City established Ordinance No. C-244 known as the Clamping Ordinance. International Deaf Education Association (IDEA) donated three wheel tire locks, or clamping devices, on November 28, 2016 in an effort to support the local government’s resolution and community safety. The honorable Tagbilaran City Mayor, Baba Yap, received the donation at the City Traffic Management Office.
IDEA Philippines, Inc. wishes the City Government success in their pursuit of traffic regulation and making the community safer for all.
